1) How does internet refill prescriptions work?
You must personally drop off your prescription at The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, OSHAWA, for the first dispensing of your prescription. When you would like your prescription refilled, you can use the internet prescription service to place your refill order.

2) If I have a new prescription, can I use the internet prescription service?
The internet prescription service is only available for refills based on prescriptions that have already been dropped off. New prescriptions can be faxed to The Medicine Shoppe, OSHAWA and the original presented at time of pick-up.

3) How do I sign up for the internet prescription service?
There is no sign up required. When you want to use the internet prescription service, just go to www.rxoshawa.com and click on REFILL PRESCRIPTION The process is very quick.

4) Is the information confidential?
The information we collect is completely confidential. For additional information, please read the Privacy Policy

5) Can any prescription be transferred from another pharmacy?
Most prescriptions can be transferred. However, if your prescription is a Narcotic or Controlled drug there are restrictions and these cannot be transferred. Your Medicine Shoppe pharmacist will be able to assist you or answer any questions you might have about transferring prescriptions.

6) Can I use the internet refill prescription service at any time of the day?
You can use the internet prescription service any time of the day, however, please allow up to 24 hours before pick-up. Also, allow extra time at weekends and statutory holidays.

7) Does the internet prescription service allow me to pay online?
No. You will pay for your prescription(s) when you come into the store to pick it up.

8) Will I still receive health care counseling from my pharmacist if I use the internet prescription service?
Yes. When you pick-up your refill order, our pharmacists will provide health care counseling and are available to answer any questions you might have.
